Sadly, I have to admit that I am pretty much done sewing bodycages for Christmas. I might have time to do one more, depending on where it needs to get shipped to. I’ll still finish all the ones I have already committed to as well, don’t worrry! My fingers tips are getting pretty tender, LOL. Things have gone quite smoothly (knock on wood). I have a great collection of fabric and I can work with predictable results. It’s so nice when everything works well together. Almost everyone has sent measurements with their original orders and that makes things so much easier for me. Thank you!!!
I’m officially on Christmas holidays from my “regular job” too and I tell ya, when I walked out of there yesterday, it had felt like Christmas had already arrived. I am more than ready for this break. Now to get my own Christmas shopping, baking and decorating done. I don’t even have my tree up yet (scandalous, I know!). Oh well, I’m happy to make sure that everyone is going to have some sexy fun this Christmas. I hope to hear back from some of you guys too. There are a couple of guys out there that I know have some really sweet and romantic things planned for their ladies this Christmas. I’m thrilled to be a small part of it. Let me know how it goes! (I don’t need ALL the details though, hee hee). Justin, please let me know if she says “yes”!!!

The Christmas rush for bodycages (body cages) is well underway. I’m loving being busy though, I’m certainly not complaining. I actually wish it could be Christmas all year round–people seem to be much nicer at this time of year. At least they are before the last minute shopping puts pressure on people. The dusting of snow the last week has really helped to put me in the mood too. My sewing studio looks like a bomb has gone off in it but I just love being surrounded by sexy fabrics and tons of sparkles! Pure bliss for me!
Unfortunately, I’ll need to talk about deadlines for shipping. If you place an order and expect it for Christmas, PLEASE send me an email and let me know. I know Canada Post has deadlines but you have to remember that it takes me time to make these items too, usually a couple of days (I do have a “regular” job too). I have a few ready-made bodycages (body cages) but most of them are custom designed just for you or your special lady to ensure the sexiest fit. If you send your (her) measurements early, it saves us both time in communication delays. They are necessary for me to get started. Having said all of that, I’m going to keep sewing and determine a shipping deadline a little closer to Christmas.

I worked on a fun project recently and thought I’d share.
Two friends of mine got married and the groom had NO idea that I made bodycages. The bride did though and we plotted and planned to get her one for her wedding night. Her favourite color is white so I suggested the “diamond” style for her. It was a no brainer!
She was very interested in doing something special for her wedding night since they had lived together for several years before they tied the knot. Convincing her to try a bodycage was fun — it is a bit outside of her comfort zone. She did have a “back-up” lace teddy in case she chickened out though. She didn’t need it though — she said she used that one the next morning, LOL.
It was so fun to see her transform when I did her fittings though. As soon as she put it on, I could start to see a transformation in her — a confidence in her sex appeal, her power, her prowess. I love it!!! THAT is why I do this.
It was so fun plotting and planning and hearing about how much fun she (they) had on their wedding night. My devious side coming out again. Can’t help myself!

I love feeling inspired.
I’m not sure where the latest burst came from but it got me up in the middle of the night. I’ve been having vivid dreams lately so maybe it came from one of those. Anyways, I had to get up and draw them out before I forgot them. I did 5 variations of 2 new designs.
I usually draw them up and then spend some time looking at them and imagining the construction of them, which fabrics to use, etc. Sometimes certain things work better than others so I may start sewing one of the variations and then end up with a completely different one. Sewing up the samples is fun because you truly don’t know what you are going to get. There is always an element of surprise in there.
Once the first one is done, I always calculate how the size variations will work (the not-so-fun part) and then sew up some samples in each of those sizes as well. I often end up cursing a bit during this stage because it is a bit of trial and error.
Once the design is finalized, I make up one or two to send out for photoshoots with various models and photographers. I gather feedback from those shoots as well, such as styling, comfort, bendability (is that a word???), etc. It’s important that they don’t restrict your movement (or your fun!). From there it’s a go!
And it all comes from that spark known as inspiration. LOVE IT!!!
